Michael Mack
Mr. Mack retired from Federal service in 2004 with 33 years of experience in leading and managing various Human Resource programs to include employee and labor relations for the Department of the Army. He has many years of experience as a guest speaker at conferences and workshops, as an adjunct faculty member at the Army Center for Civilian Human Resource Management. Mike has specialized experience in Labor Relations.
Prior to his retirement he was the Deputy Civilian Personnel Director for a large Army command and was also the Labor Relations Officer for the command. Since his retirement, he has continued to assist the Army with the Civilian Education System and with an outreach program to hire disabled veterans. He has conducted training and consulting assignments for GRA, Inc., including projects with the Army Logistics Management College; Homeland Security and DOD TRICARE, the United States Marine Corps and the Army Corps of Engineers. Regarding the National Security Personnel System (NSPS), he has taught the SMART performance objectives course through GRA and SERCO – on all of the NSPS spirals.
In addition, he has conducted NSPS training on Human Resource Elements/Performance Management and Self Assessment, and will be conducting Pay Pool Management for Rating Officials for the USMC in early January 08.
